As the release date of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again draws near, the makers took to social media earlier today and unveiled the film’s first song – Jai Bajrangbali. The powerful track – inspired by the Hanuman Chalisa, is the perfect soundtrack for the festive season owing to its spiritual essence and high-energy sound. Scroll below to check out the track.

Titled Jai Bajrangbali, the first song of Singham Again is a powerful track that highlights the themes of culture, family, love, friendship, brotherhood, loyalty, unity, and trust.

Jai Bajrangbali features the vocals of several singers including, Srikrishna, Kareemullah, Arun Koundinya, Chaitu Satsangi, Sri Sai Charan, Sudhanshu, Ritesh G Rao, Saatvik G Rao, Prudhvi Chandra, Lakshmi Naidu, Adviteeya, Sruthi Ranjani, Pranati, Aishwarya Daruri, Sahithi Chaganti, Maneesha Pandranki, Shruthika, Lakshmi Meghana, Nadapriya, and Vagdevi. The spiritual and energetic track is composited by Thaman S with powerful lyrics penned by lyricist Swanand Kirkire. The Singham Again track combines devotional intensity with an adrenaline-pumping vibe and perfectly sets the tone for the film’s high-octane action scenes.

About Singham Again

Written and directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham Again sees Ajay Devgn reprise his role as Bajirao Singham. The film sees Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar reprise their roles as Avni, Simmba and Sooryavanshi, respectively. The soon-to-release actioner also stars Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 1, coinciding with Diwali.

As seen in the trailer and first song, Singam Again is a contemporary take on the Ramayana and sees Ajay’s character drawing inspiration from Lord Rama and traits of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Kareena Kapoor Khan draws inspiration from the Ramayana’s depiction of Goddess Sita. Newcomer Arjun Kapoor joins the franchise as the antagonist, representing a modern version of Raavan.
